One hour minimum charge then in 15 minute units. Some work can be carried out on Estimate/Fixed Price.
Pimlico is the only plumbing and service company that has 100% transparent charges and we have a clear, upfront, open and honest pricing system. Our rates are clearly shown here on our website and our 24-hour call centre staff will make customers fully aware of our rates at the time they book their job.
We have a one hour minimum charge but thereafter we are the only service company to charge in 15 minute increments so you’re only paying for the time worked by our engineer. Our engineers will always show a comprehensive description of work carried out and a full breakdown of labour and material charges are shown on all invoices.
There is no call-out charge and customers are not charged for travelling time, parking, Congestion charge, and there are no other hidden charges. In a recent survey our transparent pricing structure was very much ‘middle of the road', competitive and value for money.
Hourly Rates:
There is a minimum charge of one hour on all jobs, thereafter work is charged in 15 minute increments. All rates exclude the cost of materials and are subject to 20.0% VAT.
Fixed Price:
Our engineer will give a verbal or written quote if requested before work commences. All quotations are subject to 20.0% VAT.
Day Rate:
Charges are based on a full 10 hour day and must equate to hours actually worked. The charge must be reduced pro rata if less than 10 hours are worked.
Material Collection:
Material collection time for non stock items will be kept to a minimum - any charge will be agreed with the customer in advance and not exceed £60+vat.
Materials:
Materials supplied by Pimlico Plumbers will be charged at trade price plus 20% mark up.
Estimates:
† Estimates are available from our engineers or we are happy to make an appointment for an estimator to visit you. Some estimates may incur a charge depending on the nature of the work, the area and the time of the appointment. Any charge made will be deducted from the final invoice.
Invoice:
An invoice will always be produced clearly showing a full description of work carried out - time started/time finished, a full breakdown of the cost of Labour and materials used.
Payment:
Payment must be made in full by credit card, cheque or cash to the engineer upon receipt of invoice.
