One hour minimum charge on all jobs, thereafter work is charged in 15 minute units (most other companies charge in 30 minute increments). These rates exclude materials and are subject to VAT.

Estimates can be provided by the engineers or an estimator before work commences.

Fixed prices* apply to boiler servicing, certification and white goods disposal. Fixed prices can be given verbally or in writing by the engineer before work commences and are subject to VAT.

Materials supplied by your Pimlico tradesperson will be charged at trade price plus 25% mark up and are subject to VAT.

Material collection time for non-stock items will be kept to a minimum - any charge will be agreed with the customer in advance and will not exceed £80 +VAT.

Your invoice will clearly show a full description of works carried out including start time, finish time, and a full breakdown of labour and materials.

Insurance reports will be chargeable at a nominal £50 +VAT.

Payment must be made in full to the engineer upon receipt of the invoice, we accept credit/debit card, cash or BACS. Our engineers carry portable chip and pin machines that provide a safe, secure and convenient way for you to pay for work that has been carried out, in the comfort of your own home, on receipt of invoice once your job is completed.

The wireless terminals are accredited by all major UK banks and provide the highest level of payment security. They make it possible to process transactions and obtain a banking authorisation within a matter of seconds. We do not surcharge for credit card payments.

We believe in always being 100% transparent. We are clear, upfront and honest about our company charges. Our rates are clearly shown here on our website and our helpful and experienced staff (available 24 hours), will make customers fully aware of our rates at the time they book a job or if they request details.

Our engineers will always show a full breakdown of labour, material and any other charges, and a comprehensive description of work carried out is shown on all invoices and estimates.

We do not charge for the following: call out charge, travelling, parking, congestion and there are no other hidden charges.


We always charge correctly and fairly according to our quoted rates and our policy on overcharging is unequivocal. But in the unlikely event that any of our engineers ever do deliberately disregard this policy then we will stop working with them, and a refund will be made.


We will always take responsibility in the unlikely event that work is not carried out to our standards. If you are unhappy please call our call centre, we will try to resolve your issue by sending an engineer back, or a technical service manager, at a time that is convenient to you.

Pimlico will never carry out any unnecessary work or talk customers into any work that is not needed under any circumstances.

Customer Loyalty Discount Card

To show our appreciation and to thank customers for using our services, our Customer Loyalty Discount is available if you have used our services from 2012 onwards.

You can apply by contacting our call centre. Cards are issued at the company's discretion and once your application has been approved and processed your card will be with you as soon as possible.

Your card will be personalised with your name and your individual customer loyalty number. Your card is valid immediately and may only be used by you. As the cardholder you can get up to 25% discount off labour. Any incentives for existing customers will be displayed on our website, so please check our home and services pages for the latest offers as discounts change regularly with promotions.

You will also have the priority in terms of booking jobs, appointment times and emergencies as well as being eligible for any available extra discounts which will only be offered to cardholders.
