I am going back about 10 years, but the good experience I had with Pimlico Plumbers is still with me today. The internal water feed pipe developed a leak just before the stop cock, which was still the old lead pipe so could not turn it off. Our insurer's sent along a very well known, large contractor to check it out. The guy came and was professional in his approach, but he needed access to the pipe which was obscured by a base unit. I agreed a revised visit with his office whereby I would remove the base unit, but come the day they denied ever making a rescheduled appointment and said that they could come in a few days. I contacted my insurer's to complain and they contacted Pimlico Plumbers who would be with me in an hour (Don't forget I have had water leaking for 3 days by now). Well, one hour later Pimlico Plumbers turned up represented by a 30ish Rasta guy (I say that because if he reads this he will see that I still appreciate what he did). Anyway, with a constant smile and good humour he got stuck in and after exhausting all his ideas and tricks, he could go no further without turning off the water supply, which was served by a communal feed, meaning that all the houses in the street have to be turned off too. I nervously made the appointment with the water board for the next day while he was with me on the promise that he could complete the work within 40 minutes otherwise the neighbours would have to be given 3 days notice before turning the water off. He arrived the next day half an hour earlier than the agreed time and still smiling and joking he set out all his tools etc. ready to start once the water was turned off. He not only fixed the leak in the lead pipe, he fitted another stopcock on the house side of the original stop cock so not to disturb the repaired joint. He completed the work in the time allowed, tidied up and went on his way. That fix is still good today, 10 years later. Thank you Pimlico Plumbers.

Just seen Charlie on the 10 o'clock news talking about reviews on Yelp, spot on Charlie, people writing reviews on internet blogs should have to reveal their identity giving businesses the opportunity to respond directly to any genuine grievance and to have their arses sued for bad mouthing decent hardworking companies. If not. GOOD ON YA Charlie.

We'll I've just seem that news piece regarding yelp site that post reviews. Congratulation on challenging them. Your company put in a dish washer in our new apartment 4 years ago and the service was fantastic. Lovely gentlemen connected our dishwasher, he carried out the job with great respect to our property. I really didn't want to spend that amount of money for the connection, but it was well worth it. Thanks for your service.
I would highly recommend your company. Thank you Orla and Stephen

Marc Herbert came to deal with an emergency plumbing issue for me- he arrived promptly and quickly identified and resolved the problem.
He was friendly and polite and gave me clear information about what work might be needed in the longer term to make sure there were no further problems. I was very impressed and would recommend.

Having moved into a new house we needed some work done to upgrade our bathroom. Pimlico Plumbers quickly provided a quotation and were able to schedule in the work within a few weeks. The plumber - who turned out to be very good at tiling and carpentry too - did a high quality job which has given us exactly what we needed. His attitude to his work and care in not disturbing the rest of the house was spot on. We will certainly be turning to Pimlico Plumbers again for future work.

Billy (William Allis) came out last week as an emergency plumber to fix a leaking pipe, which he did quickly & efficiently. I had identified another, less urgent problem with our old boiler. He advised us it needed replacing and returned this week to carry out the work. He has been here from 8-6 for 4 days, helpful, tidy, efficient and has just talked us through the new boiler & thermostat. Our house is old with complex plumbing and he has fathomed it out with much more skill than previous plumbers we have used. Thank you, Billy for a job well done.
