Rubbish Collection

Pimlico never leave any rubbish, debris or left over materials at a property on the completion of a job. Whether it’s a whole bathroom suite or just a couple of bags of rubbish Pimlico’s collection service team will come out to pick it up and bring it back to our depot.

Our flat bed vans have specially adapted metal cages over the back and can hold a large amount of rubbish and waste. It is then disposed of in an appropriate way that is sustainable and does not effect the environment.

This also enables the engineer on the job to carry on working and their time at your property is not taken up by clearing and disposing of rubbish and materials.

The rubbish comes back to our depot where we have separate skips and containers for:

   • Fridges and freezers*
2. General Items Skip
   
   • Bricks and building rubble
   • Old bathroom suites
   • Old kitchen units & furniture

   • Plastic
4. Metal Skip
   
   • White goods*
   • Small appliances
   • Scrap metals
5. Electrical items skip

At Pimlico we are continually working to minimise the effect this waste has on the environment. As we are fully committed to reducing our carbon emissions we reuse and recycle as much as possible ourselves and we have a waste management company that collects certain items which will then be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.

* There is a one hour charge plus 20.0% VAT payable for the collection of white goods and large appliances.
