"Thanks for the response. I plucked up the courage to call the control centre in the end (I have a bad stammer!) and a plumber came out to us yesterday afternoon.

We were really very impressed as he (and his assistant) were able to quickly identify the problem, deal with the gas leak and get our boiler up and running again.

We will be calling up next week to arrange a further appointment with him as he needs to install a couple of valves on something to do with the heating supply.

We will certainly be recommending Pimlico Plumbers to all of our friends/relatives (should they need a plumber).
