Emergency Estimates

Emergency work is carried out at the standard hourly rate of the trade related to the emergency. Click here for our company charges. Once our operative has assessed the situation, remedial action will be taken immediately to rectify the problem.

You will be given a full description of the necessary works, an approximate number of hours required to complete the job and a breakdown of materials needed before work commences.

There is no extra charge for emergency work meaning there is no call-out charge and customers are not charged for travelling time, parking, Congestion charge, and there are no other hidden charges.

Estimates for Further works

If further works, not directly related to the emergency, are required an appointment can be made for an operative or one of our trained estimators to visit you and discuss your requirements. The work will then be assessed and an estimate, a full breakdown of the hours and costs required and a schedule, designed to create as little disruption to you as possible, will be provided.

Appointments and written estimates are chargeable at our standard hourly rate. Any charge will be deducted from the final invoice and refunded if and when estimated works are carried out.

Estimate Hours

Estimates can be carried out Monday-Friday between 8am and 5pm. Estimates outside of these hours can be arranged.

Written estimates will posted (or emailed) within 48 hours of an estimator's visit and are valid for 6 months. For urgent work, estimates can be carried out promptly and work can then commence immediately.

Estimates can be provided for certain types of work related to an emergency and can include:

   • Building

Service

We provide a guaranteed 1 hour emergency response service 24 hours, 365 days a year. Emergency work will be carried out by operatives who are fully qualified and experienced in their respective trades at competitive prices.

You will be kept fully updated on the progress of your job by our engineers and helpful call centre staff.

Larger and more complex jobs will be overseen by one of our technical services managers and once completed an inspection of the work will be carried out to ensure it meets the required standards and complies with all the necessary regulations. And of course all work completed will carry a full guarantee.
