As with all our Technical Services Managers Pat Murphy can carry out plumbing, bathroom and heating estimates.
If you do require an estimate for any type of plumbing, bathroom or heating work an appointment can be made for Pat to visit you and discuss your requirements.
He will then assess the work and provide you with a detailed description of the estimate, a full breakdown of the costs and organise a schedule, which is designed to create as little disruption to you as possible.
In addition to this Pat manages Pimlico's team of Gas Safe Register accredited heating engineers and supervises the work they carry out.
Only a Gas Safe registered engineer is legally allowed to install, repair and service gas appliances, boilers, hobs, ovens or fires in your home.
Pat's responsibilities include:
- He makes sure that all heating engineers have current and appropriate qualifications and are Gas Safe Registered in order to carry out work safely and effectively.
- He also manages quality control by overseeing installations, maintenance and servicing, and with more than 35 years of experience in the industry he's always on call should an engineer require additional expert input.
- He also deals with the training of engineers to keep them up to date with the relevant skills, new techniques and to be able to work with and install new products that come onto the market.
- To carry out post work inspections that ensure that gas installations are fitted correctly, that they meet the required standards and that they comply with all the necessary regulations.

Heating estimates can be carried out Monday-Friday between 8am and 5pm. (Estimates outside of these hours can be arranged)
Written estimates will be posted (or emailed) within 48 hours of an estimator's visit and are valid for 6 months.
For urgent work, estimates can be carried out promptly and work can then commence immediately.
Once we have received an acceptance of the estimate and a deposit (if applicable) the work can then be booked in to suit your time schedule.
