Electrics in City Of London

Pimlico's team of EEC compliant electricians is able to professionally carry out any household electrical work, be it the complete rewiring of your home, or the installation or relocation of a plug socket.

Since 2005 any work requiring the disconnection of any part of your electrical system must be undertaken by a qualified electrician. This was brought into law for safety reasons, but when the lights go out or some wires need moving we realise you can't wait a week for professional attention.

That's why, thanks to our 24-hour manned call centre, and the hi-tech tracking system we have installed in all our vans, we can get an electrician to you quickly, usually within the hour in the case of emergencies.

Before any work is carried out, our engineers can provide you with an estimate of the proposed job, as well as our 100% transparent hourly rates, which are available on our website.

All our electrical work is backed by the Pimlico guarantee of quality workmanship and, unlike other companies our electricians will always clean up after themselves, and they won't leave piles of rubbish lying about for you to dispose of after the job is completed.

Our team of electrical engineers is qualified to carry out all types of domestic electrical work, including:

  • Lighting installations
  • New wall sockets
  • Switches
  • Fuse Boards
  • Consumer Units
  • Appliance Connections
  • Extractor Fans & Hoods
  • Complete Rewiring
  • Outside Lights
  • Security Lighting
  • Fault Finding
  • Repairs

"Dear Pimlico Plumbers, It's rare I would bother to email after I'd had some work done as I would normally feel it was enough to simply tell the person. In this instance having had numerous terrible experiences with a variety of independent workmen I genuinely turned to Pimlico Plumbers as I couldn't face the downside of being left with a job unfinished or badly done or the workmen being rude....etc. An electrician called Trevor Smith turned up. Positive, polite, helpful & genuine. And what's more....did a fantastic job! He was knowledgeable, courteous and went out of his way to make me feel confident and at ease in my own home. It put the other people I'd had round to shame. I felt he went out of his way to do everything i asked and seemed to know and make it all look easy. I'm aware it's so easy only to contact people when you want to complain, but I think to say 'thanks for a great job' is almost more important as those people often just go unrecognised. Thank you so much! Sara Griffiths "
