Pimlico offers educational and work-related tours and welcomes local students to our headquarters in Lambeth in order for them to gain knowledge of the company. Our tours provide both a practical and theoretical approach to learning and provide a real in-sight into skilled trades.
Tour groups will be shown around each of our departments including transport, the mechanics workshop, the call centre, the PR department, and Human Resources. They will be given the chance to see how Pimlico operates and have the opportunity to ask employees any questions that they may have.
The main part of the tour is hosted in our training workshop by our HR team and some of our top engineers.
Learning and activities are structured to help tour group members understand what it’s like to be a tradesman in a real- working environment.
Pimlico tours are available to all local schools, colleges and charities and a minimum of six students and one supervisor are required. The option of either a half day or a full day tour is available. We can also tailor each session to suit the group’s needs and requirements.
Feedback that we have received from previous tour groups has been very positive and many tutors/ supervisors have commented on what a memorable and worthwhile experience it was for their students.
